Montana Agate cabochon, size 7.5

Hand made with a stone from the Yellowstone river in Montana. It looks like either a fire agate or possibly petrified wood, lovely colored veins.  

Hand cut and set in sterling silver in my mobile metalsmith studio- a hand-built skoolie that allows me to live and work close to the landscapes where many of these stones are found.

Set in solid sterling silver and finished by hand, this piece was created to honor the natural character of the stone rather than compete with it.
